A skirmishing party of loyal woodsmen, gamekeepers and sharpshooters, drawn from his oldest tenant families to form the Squire’s personal lifeguard of foot.

He’s raised his own company from across his estates, but these chosen men, old and young, with their well-used fowling pieces and muskets, are the cream of his crop. Aiming, stalking, advancing stealthily - ready to bring down the Squire’s enemies as gladly as any deer or partridge.
